Cataclean Plato Racing driver Adam Morgan has expressed his excitement for Rounds 4, 5, and 6 of the British Touring Car Championship at Brands Hatch Indy.
The Briton enters the second weekend of the season still riding the high of his recent switch to the debuting Plato Racing, wishing to build on his solid Donington outing at a track he admires.
“It’s mega, Brands is a mega track,” he told Motorsport Week exclusively.
“The Indy circuit in particular is fast, it’s hectic, there is no respite at all. There’s no real straights on it, it’s incredibly busy.”
The track is one he has a fond feeling for, with his maiden series victory coming around the circuit in 2014.
“That race, I didn’t win on the road, I won when Plato was kicked out. And all these years now he’s my team manager, so it’s gone full circle.
“But yeah, it’s a mega circuit, I love coming here.
“It’s a great track, the weather looks like it’s going to be good for the weekend. So yeah, I can’t wait to get stuck in.”

Adam Morgan ‘here to win’ in his return to Mercedes-Benz machinery
Eight of Morgan’s 11 BTCC victories came during his seven-year stint driving a Mercedes A-Class hatchback.
Inspired by his return to the German motor, Morgan asserts Plato Racing are competing for victory in 2026.
“What Jason and Dan have done in building these cars is next level.
“When we went for the factory tour, we had a walk around the thing. I’ve never seen anything like it before. And we left that first meeting and were like, this is just an opportunity that’s just too good to miss.
“We’re here to win. We’re not here to make up numbers.
“There’s always elements of teething issues of a brand new car. And like I said, I’ve done this a few times. I’ve driven new cars before.
“But with this one, touch wood, we seem to have got on the pace pretty quickly. And Donington was okay, we expected more.
“We’ve gone away and studied, and we know what the issue was. We know we can improve it, and we have improved it.
“So hopefully we should see two Plato purple cars up on the front this weekend.”
Oliver Bell will be on-site at Brands Hatch for the weekend’s racing with more exclusives and news coming to MotorsportWeek.com!
