Jorge Martin topped the charts by two-tenths in the final US MotoGP practice session, with a strong showing.

The Aprilia man set himself up for qualifying perfectly with a 2:01.563 lap to take top spot.

A different Circuit of The Americas greeted the riders as temperatures dropped and the wind rose after Friday’s running.

Ai Ogura suffered an early crash at Turn 20, losing his bike on the apex, but quickly recovered.

Fabio Di Giannantonio set the tone of the early laps with a 2:01.983, but was pipped by Riders’ Championship leader Marco Bezzechi’s 2:01.789. The pair were the only riders to best the 2:02 mark after the first stint of the session.

Elsewhere, Friday standouts Pedro Acosta and Marc Marquez sat in P7 and P9.

Alex Marquez had a fast crash with 10 minutes to go on entry to Turn 2, with him and his bike skidding through the gravel. Seconds later, Bezzecchi lost his bike on the apex of Turn 6 and tore his suit through the runoff.

Jorge Martin joined the sub-2:02 pair with a lap of 2:01.996, as Diogo Moreira lost his bike in an identical incident to Alex Marquez at Turn 2.

Marc Marquez went top with five minutes to spare with a 2:01.714, before Martin improved to a 2:01.563. Francesco Bagnaia put himself into P3 with a 2:01.763.

A second crash of the day came for Ai Ogura at Turn 2, as the third-gear corner saw its third identical incident.

At the chequered flag, it was Bezzecchi in P4, as Di Giannantonio and Acosta took P5 and P6.

Fermin Aldeguer followed behind, continuing his strong recovery from his broken leg. Joan Mir took P8, Alex Marquez P9, and Raul Fernandez P10.

Enea Bastianini finished in P11, with Moreira and Brad Binder behind him. Luca Marini took P14, ahead of Toprak Razgatlioglu and Ogura.

Fabio Quarararo came home in P17 with the final lap within 2:03. Johan Zarco, Franco Morbidelli, Alex Rins, and Jack Miller rounded out the field.
