The young driver tests kick-off on Tuesday, just a couple of days after Sebastian Vettel was crowned the 2010 world champion.
It’s back to business for the teams though as they put a raft of drivers through their paces in current F1 cars. All those participating mustn’t have competed in more than two races.
The two-day test will see 21 drivers, the youngest being Rio Haryanto from Indonesia who’ll jump into the VR-01 at the age of just 17, whilst the oldest will be Gary Paffett for McLaren, aged 29.
The most common nationality on the grid will be British. In total, 14 nationalities will be on track in Abu Dhabi over two-days.
The Pirelli tyre test will follow on Friday.
