Two-time NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour champion Andy Seuss has been announced as driver of the #51 Rick Ware Racing entry in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on July 21. The race will be the NASCAR premier-series debut for Seuss, a Hampstead, N.H., native.
“It’s a dream come true, a dream I had honestly gave up on,” Seuss said. "I can’t thank Rick [Ware, team owner] enough for pursuing me to do this. To do it at my home track, where I’ll be surrounded by my family, friends and everyone that has supported me for so long just makes it that much more amazing.”
Seuss has only one NASCAR national-level start — the NASCAR Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway in 2016. He retired from the race, 20 laps in, after a crash and was credited with a last-place finish.
Seuss, though, is a veteran of NASCAR's modified ranks, racing on both the Whelen Modified Tour and Whelen Southern Modified Tour. He has 22 wins in 115 races on the Southern Modified Tour and won championships in that series in 2014 and 2015.

Seuss also has contested 12 ARCA Menards Series races, including three this year. He has one-career ARCA top-five, a second-place finish at Talladega Superspeedway in 2017.
