The ABB FIA Formula E Championship's provisional Season 6 calendar has been unveiled following the FIA World Motorsport Council meeting in Paris.

The 2018/19 season will commence on Friday, November 22 before racing again on the 23rd with a double-header event in Ad Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, visiting 12 locations holding 14 races.

Following the season-opener in Saudi Arabia, the next race will be held on December 14 although the location of the third round of the season is still yet to be decided.

Breaking for the Christmas period, the championship will return to the Parque O'Higgins Circuit in Santiago, Chile on January 14 before heading to Mexico City on February 15.

The Hong Kong E-Prix remains on the Season 6 calendar, retaining its spot in March while a second race in China will be held on March 21 with the venue yet to be decided although Sanya, which made its debut in Season 5, has been tipped to remain on the calendar.

The 2019/20 campaign's European leg will commence in Rome on April 4 before heading to Paris on April 18.

South Korea is a new addition to the Formula E calendar and will take the place of the Monaco E-Prix, slotting in between the Paris and Berlin rounds of the calendar on May 3, with Berlin taking place on May 30.

On June 20, the all-electric single-seater series will race in New York, with this race weekend getting reduced to a single race as opposed to a double-header event as seen since Season 3, taking the place of the Swiss E-Prix which has been removed from the calendar.

The season will come to a close with a double-header event at London's ExCeL arena on July 25 and 26, with the series returning to the city after previously racing in Battersea Park during Seasons 1 and 2.
