TF Sport has announced plans to enter the 2019/2020 FIA World Endurance Championship in the GTE Am category.

The British outfit, which endured previous success in the Michelin Le Mans Cup and European Le Mans Series, debuted in the championship this season. In its first season, the team scored podiums at Silverstone, Fuji and at both rounds in Spa-Francorchamps. The team currently sits third in the championship standings

The team is looking to field a single entry with the new Vantage AMR, which will be available for privateer use next season. The team is no stranger to Aston Martin Racing, as it fields the new Vantage GT3 in both British GT and Blancpain GT competition.

TF Sport Director Tom Ferrier commented: “It has always been our intention to continue in the FIA World Endurance Championship and we have worked hard behind the scenes to ensure that we remain at the highest level of GT racing. We have high hopes that our entry will be accepted and that we can return to Silverstone in the new Aston Martin Vantage GTE.”
