Caca Bueno took a dominant pole position in qualifying for the Monaco round of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY, beating team-mate Sergio Jimenez to the fastest time in qualifying.

Bueno, who also took pole position in the Hong Kong and Sanya rounds of the series, set a best time of a 1m 04.523s to top the timesheets after 30-minutes of running, with a last-ditch effort from Jimenez in the second Jaguar Brazil car failing to match the five-time Stock Car Brasil champion.

Jimenez trailed his team-mate by 0.034s to secure second and a spot on the front row of the grid while Bryan Sellers delivered Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing with third, 0.184s off the pace.

TWR Techeetah's Stefan Rzadzinski set the pace early on in qualifying, exchanging lap times with Bueno, however, was unable to find an additional advantage on track, qualifying in fourth place while Simon Evans completed the top five.

Katherine Legge's qualifying in Monaco was hampered by a front-left puncture which meant that the Briton was the slowest driver in the Pro field, qualifying in sixth place, 0.476s off the pace in the second RLL entry.

In Pro-Am it was Bandar Alesayi who took pole position once again, fronting 7-8 result overall for Saudi Racing with Ahmed Bin-Khanen completing the fourth row of the grid.

Jaguar VIP driver Anthony Beltoise, son of Jean-Pierre Beltoise, piloted the #1 I-PACE to ninth on the grid, with the Frenchman outqualifying Yaqi Zhang, Celia Martin and Ziyi Zhang who completed the field from 10th-12th.

The seventh round of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY will commence at 18:15 local time.
