Dragonspeed has pulled its LMP1 entry out of this weekend TOTAL Six Hours of Spa Francorchamps.

The American outfit, which currently holds fifth place in the LMP1 standings, announced on Twitter that the team will not be bringing their #10 BR Engineering BR1-Gibson to the penultimate round of the 2018/2019 FIA World Endurance Championship.

According to the team, it was unable to acquire key electronics that were needed after an issue at the 1000 Miles of Sebring forced a DNF. As a result, the trio of Henrik Hedman, Ben Hanley and James Allen will not be competing at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. The team now says it will be focusing its LMP1 efforts on the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which acts as the season finale in June.

Dragonspeed's withdrawal leaves the total number of competing cars at 34, with 7 cars now left in LMP1. ByKolles Racing Team, who skipped Sebring as the result of a dispute with its engine supplier, is back on the entry list with a new Gibson engine. Regulars Rebellion Racing and SMP Racing will be competing, alongside the pair of Toyota hybrids.

The team is not completely out of the running this weekend, however. The Florida-based outfit also fields an ORECA 07-Gibson in the LMP2 class, driven by Roberto Gonzalez, Pastor Maldonado and Anthony Davidson. The 2019 TOTAL Six Hours of Spa-Francorchamps kicks off on Saturday May 4th at 13:30pm local time.
