Jaguar Brazil Racing's Caca Bueno stormed to a maiden pole position for the third round of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY, beating Bryan Sellers to the top spot.

Bueno set a best time of a 1m 21.203s to claim pole position in what was a wet qualifying session, with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing's Sellers emerging as his nearest challenger, trailing the Brazilian driver by 0.327s to secure second on the grid.

Simon Evans, who secured pole position and victory in the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY's maiden race in Ad Diriyah, qualified in third on the grid for Team Asia New Zealand, 0.048s adrift of Sellers in second.

TWR Techeetah's Stefan Rzadzinski completed the second row of the grid in qualifying despite suffering from a right rear puncture with four minutes of running remaining, with the incident causing the session to be red flagged while Katherine Legge completed the top five.
