The 17th round of the Formula One championship moves us to Yeongam, South Korea. Weather for the weekend looks set to be dry, although showery outbreaks are possible during the race.
Friday will almost certainly be dry and sunny, the chance of rain stands at just 5%. This should give the driver’s plenty of running to get to grips with the new oily track.
Saturday will see similar conditions to Friday, although the chance of rain increases to 20%. Strong winds could hit the circuit, however with the track surrounded by walls, similar to that of Valencia, it shouldn’t have much impact on the cars themselves.
Sunday’s conditions could be more changeable. The chance of rain increases again, this time to 60% during the latter stages of the race, thanks to the tropical storm ‘Megi’ which is currently circulating the south-east of Hong Kong.
