Sebastien Buemi was fastest in the second practice session for the 22025 24 Hours of Le Mans for Toyota, with a 3:26.156.
The #12 Cadillac of Norman Nato was second, ahead of the #83 AF Corse Ferrari of Yifei Ye. However, the #83 Ferrari had been fastest until the very end of the session, when Robert Kubica’s lap times got deleted as the pole had sped in the pit lane. Kubica had set a 3:25.101 before it was deleted.
Fourth was the #4 Porsche of Pascal Wehrlein, with Miguel Molina in the #50 Ferrari fifth.
A late incident between the #8 Toyota of Ryo Hirakawa and Casper Stevenson in the #57 Kessel Ferrari 296 GT3 saw the two make contact at Karting corner exiting the Porsche Curves. Both had damage, but made it safely back to the pits.
Dane Cameron was fastest in LMP2 in the #199 AO by TF Oreca 07-Gibson, setting a 3:37.515. He was ahead of Pietro Fittipaldi, of the #22 United Autosports Oreca, and Tom Blomqvist in the #37 CLX Pure Rxcing machine.
Finally, in LMGT3, the Akkodis ASP took a 1-2 in the session, the #87 Lexus RC F GT3 of Jose Maria Lopez setting a 3:55.422, ahead of teammate Jack Hawksworth in the #78 sister car. Third was the #91 Manthey Porsche of Richard Lietz, over half a second off Lopez.
The session was interrupted by a brief red flag to clear up debris from blown tyre from an Aston Martin Valkyrie.
