Ferrari will mark the death of four Italian servicemen in Afghanistan tomorrow at the Japanese Grand Prix.
The four men were killed after being ambushed in the war-torn country. A fifth man was also injured.
“The death of four of our fellow countrymen working as part of a peace mission grieves us greatly,” said Stefano Domenicali. “We are with their families in spirit and wish to honour their memory.”
The team will therefore wear black armbands tomorrow, whilst the car will be decorated in a similar fashion.
