The provisional 2025 FIM MotoGP World Championship calendar has been announced. It includes 22 Grand Prix weekends in 18 countries.

Pre-season testing will occur in Thailand and Malaysia, with Thailand hosting the opener instead of Qatar. For the first time in 25 years, a Southeast Asian race will kick start the MotoGP season, as Japan hosted the first event at the Suzuka circuit in 2001.

Trips to Argentina and America will follow, before Qatar being pushed back to April for the fourth round of the championship.

The following 12 races will be held in Europe, with MotoGP hosting races in ten countries. The British Grand Prix at Silverstone will fall earlier in the year on the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The Dutch Grand Prix will also see MotoGP celebrate a special 100th-anniversary event, with the Dutch TT and Assen an integral part of its history.

MotoGP will return to Hungary for the first time since 1992, with a brand new track at Balaton Park, which will host its first race in August. The Czech Grand Prix will return to Brno following a six-year absence, signing a five-year contract through till the 2029 season.

MotoGP will return to Asia following the San Marino Grand Prix at Misano, with four races in Asia and the Oceanic regions, before Portimao and Valencia finish the season.

The popular Portimao track remains on the calendar for a further two-years amid fears it would miss out.
