ROKiT BMW Motorrad confirmed on Monday that Dutchman Michael van der Mark will remain with the outfit for the 2025 WorldSBK campaign.

The announcement completes the factory BMW outfit’s rider line-up for next season with Championship leader Toprak Razgatlioglu signing a two-year deal ahead for 2024 and ’25.

Van der Mark has been with the BMW squad since the start of the 2021 season, but significant injuries have plagued his time with the German marque.

In 2024, the Dutchman has returned to better health and is putting together a quietly consistent campaign with Sunday’s Race 2 at Misano marking his first DNF of the campaign.

“I am very, very happy and honoured to continue with BMW,” said van der Mark.

“I am really happy that especially after the two difficult years they still have the trust in me and I think that this year’s results are showing improvements.

“I’m really happy with how the team’s working, how the BMW M 1000 RR is working and how we are still improving it. So it’s fantastic to be able to stay.

“This also gives me a lot of confidence for the rest of the season. I’m ready to keep building our momentum and be even more ready for next year.”

Sporting Director for BMW Motorrad Motorsport Marc Bongers added, “We are very pleased to have Toprak Razgatlioglu and Michael van der Mark, two absolute top riders, in our factory team for the 2025 Superbike World Championship.

“Both have proved in recent years that they belong to the best and will form a powerful duo on our BMW M 1000 RR next season.”

Van der Mark lies eighth in the Riders’ standings on 66 points after the opening four rounds of the season.
