Jean-Eric Vergne and Techeetah set the pace in FP2 ahead of qualifying for this weekend's Santiago ePrix.
Throughout the session, Alex Lynn held the top spot before Vergne beat the DS Virgin Racing driver to have the best time in the session in the closing stages, setting a 1:18.662, only 0.030 seconds ahead of the Briton who ended the session in second fastest.
Mitch Evans set the third fastest time of the session for Jaguar Racing and was 0.210 seconds off the pace, closely followed by Mahindra Racing's Nick Heidfeld who was only 0.015 seconds adrift of the New Zealander in fourth.
Felix Rosenqvist completed the top five in the second Mahindra while Sam Bird was sixth fastest after setting the pace in FP1.
Edoardo Mortara was seventh fastest for Venturi Formula E and was closely followed by Daniel Abt who was the highest placed Audi driver in eighth, 0.024 seconds adrift of the Swiss rookie.
Former Formula E champion Sebastien Buemi ended the session in ninth fastest for Renault e.dams while Season Four champion Lucas di Grassi was tenth in the second Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler machine.
Outside of the top ten, Oliver Turvey was the highest placed NIO driver in 11th fastest while Jose Maria Lopez failed to replicate his performances of FP1 outing, being only 12th fastest for Dragon Racing after suffering from radio issues and stopping out on track.
Like FP1, FP2 was also cut short when Nico Prost crashed in the closing stages of the 30 minute long session, bringing out the red flag, leaving the Frenchman in 20th.
Through this red flag, practice starts were abandoned for the second session in a row. With qualifying being the next and penultimate session of the weekend, drivers will head into the race without having performed practice starts on the dusty, cobbled streets of Santiago which could cause some issues to the starting procedure for some teams.
