McLaren protégé Nyck de Vries will receive another outing in Audi’s DTM car next week as the squad evaluates a host of youngsters.
Audi, Mercedes and BMW traditionally organises a post-season test to assess young drivers, which this year will take place at the Lausitzring.
De Vries is the highest-profile participant, with the McLaren youngster currently seventh in the Formula 2 championship in his rookie campaign.
De Vries, following his test in the RS5 at last year's corresponding test, has also been affiliated with Audi this season and was on standby to replace Mike Rockenfeller in Moscow, after his high-speed Norisring accident.
Álex Palou (F2/Japanese F3), Ferdinand Habsburg (F3), Jonathan Aberdein (ADAC F4), Dries Vanthoor (Blancpain) and Yann Ehrlacher (WTCC) are Audi’s other participants.
Regular Audi DTM racer Nico Muller will be used as a benchmark for the sextuplet.
Mercedes and BMW have yet to confirm its line-ups for the young driver test.
