Issue 237 of our free weekly magazine, Motorsport Monday, is online now and packed full of great content – click here or the link below to start reading.

Wow, who would have thought that Porsche would be leaving Japan with their tail between their legs having been comprehensively trounced by the hosts, Toyota, at their own track – the mighty Fuji Speedway. Yes, the atrocious wet weather played a hand too but taking nothing away from the TS 050's, they beat the 919's hands down! Daniel Lloyd has the full story.

Later that afternoon, we crowned the new 2017 DTM Series Champion and guess what, it wasn't either long time points leader Mattias Ekström or Saturday's Race 1 winner and current in-form driver Jamie Green. No, it was the rookie Rene Rast! Read Phillip Horton's report on how he created some DTM history!

This week Joe Saward firstly takes a look at who should be in the running for the second Williams seat for next season and more importantly who shouldn't. Then he also pontificates as to whether or not there is still corporate espionage going on in Formula 1 after the recent revelations surrounding long time Ferrari sponsor and partner Kaspersky.

So instead of wasting time, he set about trying to predict where reigning champion Sébastien Ogier will end up next year. The conclusions he came up with are fascinating…

All this and a lot more from your favourite weekly motorsport magazine that brings you all the latest news and reports first thing on a  Monday morning!
