Strakka Racing and Rowe Racing have each withdrawn a car from this weekend's Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup round at the Hungaroring.

Strakka will be without its #42 McLaren 650S GT3 usually driven by Come Ledogar and Jonny Kane, with Ledogar unable to compete on doctor's orders.

The Frenchman is suffering from appendicitis and has been deemed unfit to drive.

Additionally, team owner/driver Nick Leventis is away this weekend and will not take his place in the #42 machine alongside Lewis Williamson.

20-year-old Croatian racer Martin Kodric, who races a Barwell Motorsport Lamborghini in the BGTS Endurance Cup, has been called in as a one-off replacement.

Kodric and Williamson will be joined by Ben Barnicoat/Alvaro Parente and Rob Bell/Andrew Watson in the other Strakka McLarens.

Rowe Racing, meanwhile, is down to one BMW M6 GT3 after one of its cars sustained heavy damage in an accident at the Nurburgring last weekend.

Philip Eng was leading the six-hour VLN race when he collided with a backmarker at Flugplatz, sending the car into the barriers.

The Rowe squad will instead run with a single car for Eng and Markus Palttala.

Palttala's usual team-mate Jesse Krohn is unable to drive in Hungary owing to commitments in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, which races at Virginia this weekend.

Mercedes drivers Maximilian Buhk and Franck Perera head to the penultimate round of the BGTS Sprint with the championship lead, five points ahead of Audi pair Will Stevens and Markus Winkelhock.
