Daniel Ricciardo says he's happy to move on from Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix, having received an apology from Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen.
The pair were involved in an opening lap clash when Verstappen came in hot at Turn 2 and locked a brake, sliding into the side of Ricciardo's car, causing a puncture which caused the Australian to spin, whilst damage to his radiator saw him retire.
"Yesterday was hard to take," Ricciardo wrote on his personal Twitter on Monday. "You build up all day for those couple hours of racing and then it's gone like that."
Ricciardo had some choice words for the Dutchman after the race, describing the move as "amateur", but says things were handled in the right way after the race when Verstappen apologised for his mistake.
"Max apologised to me after the race and we spoke one on one away from media or anyone; the situation was handled and taken care of in the right way to move forward."
Team boss Christian Horner says the team will also move on from the matter after the apology.
"It was pleasing to see Max put his hand up and immediately apologise to Daniel and to the team and we all move on from that," he added.
