Sebastian Vettel led a Ferrari 1-2 during the final practice session for the Canadian Grand Prix on Saturday morning.
Vettel set a time of 1:12.572 on the Ultrasoft tyres to finish 0.292s quicker than team-mate Kimi Räikkönen, who headed proceedings on Friday.
Räikkönen caused amusement when he requested a return to "tomorrow's set-up", before clarifying his comments, while discussing matters with his race engineer.
Lewis Hamilton was third for Mercedes, 0.354s behind Vettel, while Max Verstappen built on Red Bull’s encouraging pace to take fourth, 0.393s down on the championship leader.
Valtteri Bottas survived a wayward moment through Turn 4 to finish fifth quickest, while Nico Hülkenberg vaulted up the order after a low-key Friday to collect sixth spot for Renault.
Williams’ Felipe Massa and Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo took seventh and eighth, as Esteban Ocon and Carlos Sainz Jr. rounded out the top 10.
Daniil Kvyat and Fernando Alonso were next up, followed by Sergio Pérez, Romain Grosjean, Jolyon Palmer, Stoffel Vandoorne and Kevin Magnussen.
Home representative Lance Stroll managed only 18th, with Sauber pair Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein off the pace in 19th and 20th, the Swede sliding through the grass at Turn 3.
Following an array of spins during Friday practice, Saturday morning's one-hour session was far calmer, with no major dramas.
