Sauber's Pascal Wehrlein has been given the all clear to take part in the Canadian Grand Prix next weekend following a scary accident at the Monaco GP last Sunday.
The German's car was flipped on its side and pinned against a barrier when McLaren's Jenson Button unsuccessfully attempted an overtake at the tight Portier turn.
Although it was a low-speed accident, Wehrlein had already missed two races at the beginning of the season, owing to a lack of fitness, caused by the back injury he sustained at the Race of Champions in January.
The 22-year-old underwent precautionary scans this week to ensure the incident hadn't caused his original back injury to flare up again.
Wehrlein tweeted that he will be in Montreal for the race next weekend.
