Ford held off the challenges from Porsche and Corvette to seal a GTLM one-two during qualifying for the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Ryan Briscoe topped the 15 minute shootout with a 1:55.939s time behind the wheel of the #67 Ford GT, marking the second consecutive pole for the manufacturer in 2017.
The Chip Ganassi-run Fords dictated most of the session, with Dirk Müller leading early on in the #66 car before Briscoe charged to the top of the order with a new lap record for the class.
Müller settled for second on the grid for Saturday's race, with a time of 1:56.175s.
Third in class was the Corvette C7.R driven by Tommy Milner, which finished 0.313 seconds shy of Briscoe's marker.
Rounding out the top five were Kevin Estre, who split the Fords early on in his Porsche 911 RSR, and Antonio Garcia in the sister Corvette.
Both BMW and Ferrari struggled to match the pace of their rivals, with Giancarlo Fisichella's Ferrari 488 bookending the order.
GT Daytona pole position was scooped by Tristan Vautier, who turned in the first sub-two minute time of the weekend aboard the SunEnergy1 Racing Mercedes AMG-GT3.
The former IndyCar driver eclipsed the 2016 GTD pole time by some 2.5 seconds, putting a gap of 0.752 seconds between himself and Connor de Phillippi in the Land Motorsport Audi R8 LMS GT3.
Securing third on the grid was Corey Lewis in the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 entered by Change Racing, 1.229 seconds off Vautier's benchmark.
The pair of factory-backed Lexus RCF-GT3s completed the top five in class, with Robert Alon qualifying ahead of 2014 Sebring winner Scott Pruett.
