World Endurance Championship reveals 27-car Prologue entry list

A total of 27 cars will travel to Monza for the official World Endurance Championship test weekend on April 1-2.

The Prologue was held at Paul Ricard until last season, with Monza set to welcome the ACO's top category for the first time since 2008.

There are few surprises on the 2017 entry list, with all five expected LMP1s slated to take part.

Elsewhere in the top class, ex-Formula One driver Robert Kubica is down to drive the ByKolles Racing CLM P1/01 with its new NISMO powerplant.

LMP2 is the largest category with nine entries represented, although one of the CEFC Manor TS Racing ORECA 07s will not make the trip.

The #25 car's absence is down to a ruling that teams only need to send one car to the pre-season test.

In GTE-Pro there are eight runners, including an additional driver in the championship-defending #95 Aston Martin.

Richie Stanaway will join full-season racers Nicki Thiim and Marco Sørensen, with the New Zealander being evaluated for a partial season with the team in 2017.
