Iron Lynx has announced a selection of their drivers who will represent them at next year’s 24 Hours of Daytona across three Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 entrants.

The outfit will compete in the Endurance Cup once again in 2024, fielding three Lamborghinis from the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season-opener.

In the GTD Pro #19 Iron Lynx entry, Lamborghini factory drivers Mirko Bortolotti, Jordan Pepper and Andrea Caldarelli will take to the wheel, with the addition of Franck Perera for the Daytona 24.

The yellow #60 entrant will be driven by Claudio Schiavoni and Matteo Cressoni – who have both driven in three FIA World Endurance Championship seasons with Iron Lynx – as their two teammates will be announced in due course.

Iron Dames will once again take on IMSA for their second season, having recently taken their first World Endurance Championship race win.

Their pink #83 Lamborghini will feature the drivers who achieved the feat in Bahrain: Michelle Gatting, Sarah Bovy and Rahel Frey. A fourth driver for Daytona will be announced at a later date.

Iron Lynx Team Principal and CEO, Andrea Piccini, said: “We are very excited to return to the United States, as we enjoyed racing in the IMSA Sportscar Championship very much this year.

“There, we found ourselves learning a completely different way of racing with a paddock that made us feel very welcome.

“We are really looking forward to going back to start racing in 2024 with a great race such as the 24 Hours of Daytona with our three Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO 2 cars.

“The team will take a short and well-deserved break over December and we will be more than ready to hit the track once again.”

Deborah Mayer, Iron Dames Project Founder, added: “We are very pleased to announce our return to IMSA Endurance Cup and I would like to thank John Doonan and his team for their very warm welcome to this major championship.

“The Iron Dames have consistently shown remarkable passion, determination, and never give up attitude in the competitive world of endurance racing.

“We’ve recently finished our first season in IMSA and it’s a pleasure to be back in 2024.

“We can’t wait to come back to the heartfelt atmosphere and good adrenaline of the American circuits and the enthusiastic support from the American crowds for the Iron Dames.

“We are looking forward to opening the 2024 season at Daytona.”

The Endurance Cup will commence with Daytona in January, the 12 Hours of Sebring on March 16, followed by the Six Hours of the Glen on June 23, the six-hour Battle on the Bricks on September 22, concluded with Petit Le Mans on October 12.
