GP2 racer and Williams development driver Alex Lynn will make his FIA World Endurance Championship debut at the next round in Japan with the Manor team.
The British driver has been a part of the Williams F1 outfit since the start of 2015 and has completed several test days with the team.
He’s currently in his second GP2 season with DAMS and is eighth in the drivers’ standings ahead of this weekend’s penultimate round in Malaysia.
Lynn has won four times during his GP2 career so far, having moved up to the series after claiming the 2014 GP3 title.

He will partner ex-F1 driver Shinji Nakano and Tor Graves at the wheel of the No.45 Manor LMP2 car at the Fuji circuit for the next WEC race.
Lynn hasn’t raced in the WEC before but he did trial Toyota’s LMP1 car during a test in Bahrain last year.
