Jake Hughes and Arjun Maini have been handed penalties after incidents during the second GP3 race of the weekend at Spa-Francorchamps.
Hughes has picked up a three-place grid drop for the next round (Monza, race one) after hitting Matt Parry’s Koiranen GP car at Turn 6.
The incident took place on the opening lap and saw both DAMS driver Hughes and Parry retire from the race as a result.
Jenzer racer Maini was involved in a collision during the closing stages of the race, after locking up at Turn 8.
He collided with Alexander Albon’s ART car, later clipping Albon again and pitching his car into the air at the final chicane.
The Indian driver was given a 10-second time penalty, which was added to his race time. He had finished 12th but falls to 16th.
