The FIA and Formula E have officially confirmed the calendar for the 2016/2017 season, with five new races.

The season will begin on the 9 October with the new Hong Kong round, before moving onto Marrakech in Morocco in November.

There will then be a three-month break, which will feature a special e-race event in Las Vegas on the 7 January. It will be run on rFactor 2 at a special virtual track around the city streets, with 10 fans being given the chance to qualify and race against the 20 drivers.

Buenos Aires will signal Formula E's return to the track in February, with Mexico City remaining on the calendar and Monaco returning.
