It’s a Porsche 1-2 at Watkins Glen with two hours gone of the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship’s Six Hours of the Glen.

Mathieu Jaminet in the #6 Porsche 963 leads Felipe Nasr, driving the sister #7 Porsche 963, leads by just under a second, with Pipo Derani third in the #31 Action Express Cadillac V-Series.R.

Jaminet’s teammate Tandy started his car on pole and lead for the first portion of the race, until a full course yellow was enacted for an accident. Campbell, at the time in the #7 Porsche, had pitted his Porsche moments earlier anticipating the caution, enabling the Kiwi to lead the lead.

Just moments ago Jaminet took the lead off Nasr at turn 1, returning the polesitting car to the lead.

It’s been a messy race, with the first caution coming almost immediately after the start, as Augusto Farfus crashed his #24 BMW M Hybrid V8 into the wall on drivers’ left at turn 1, spinning on cold tyres and causing that car to retire on the spot.

There’ve been another two cautions, one for a crash between Salih Yoluc, Ben Keating, and Steven Thomas at the final corner, sending an innocent Thomas into the wall and causing damage to the front end. The third caution of the race so far was Sebastien Bourdais losing the rear end of his Cadillac, being helped into the barriers by Connor de Phillippi in the #25 BMW.

In LMP2, Nolan Siegel leads in the #04 Crowdstrike by APR Oreca 07-Gibson, with Giedo van der Garde second in the #35 TDS Oreca 07-Gibson. Third is Alex Quinn in the #52 PR1 Mathiasen Oreca 07-Gibson.

Gar Robinson leads LMP3, behind the wheel of the #74 Riley Ligier JS P320-Nissan, ahead of Dakota Dickerson in the #30 Jr III Ligier JS P320-Nissan. Jarrett Andretti is third in the #36 Andretti Ligier JS P320.

Daniel Serra leads GTD Pro, driving the #62 Risi Competizione Ferrari 296 GT3. Jordan Taylor is second in the #3 Corvette C8.R, while Ben Barnicoat lies third in the #14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3.

Doraine Pin leads GTD in the #83 Iron Dames Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2, with Frankie Montecalvo second in the #12 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3. Third in class is Misha Goikhberg un the #78 Forte Racing Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2.
