Lewis Hamilton stayed quickest on Saturday morning during final practice for the Italian Grand Prix, but Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel closed in to secure second.

Key Points from FP3:

– Hamilton’s 1:24.544 put him quickest, but Ferrari’s Tifosi had something to cheer as Vettel closed the gap significantly to finish just under three tenths adrift of the Mercedes.

– Early morning rain meant the session began in the wet, with many choosing to remain in the garage, however it later dried out, allowing for some meaningful running.
