WorldSBK championship leader Nicolo Bulega completed the weekend’s proceedings at Portimao with the treble.
The Italian led from start to finish as he crossed the line just under 2s ahead of his team-mate Iker Lecuona.
Miguel Oliveira completed the podium spots as the final top three stayed the same throughout the weekend.
In a similar fashion to the short race earlier in the day, Bulega maintained the holeshot into Turn 2, with Lecuona down to fourth.
But the best launch off the line was Bimota’s Lowes, who overtook Lecuona and BMW’s Oliveira to slot in behind the championship leader.
Oliveira produced an impressive overtake to put himself in second place, overtaking Alex Lowes into Turn 3 on Lap 2.
Lecuona was the next to pass the Lincolnshire rider, placing himself in third position as his sights were next on Oliveira.
The Spaniard produced an impressive overtake into Turn 1 while setting the fastest lap, a move that would prove significant if he wanted to take his first WorldSBK victory.
Further down, while in fifth and seventh respectively, Yari Montella and Yamaha rider Xavi Vierge crashed at Turn 5 in separate incidents before re-joining.
However, the first retirement of the race went to Motocorsa’s Alberto Surra, who crashed out at Turn 13 on Lap 6.
Montella’s crash saw a technical problem, though, meaning he was forced to retire the Panigale V4 R on the very same lap.
Bahattin Sofoglu was the next victim at the tricky Turn 5, crashing out for a second time in both Sunday races.
Out front, the factory Ducati duo of Bulega and Lecuona formed a sizeable 2.5s margin over the rest of the field, though Lecuona was 1.3s behind his team-mate.
Tarran Mackenzie retired at the halfway stage after tucking the front of his MGM Ducati, crashing out at Turn 13 before returning.
Alvaro Bautista’s race also ended in the gravel traps at Turn 5 on the following lap, meaning the two-time champion ended his final race of the weekend with zero points.
Bulega controlled from the front to continue his 100% win streak in 2026, making it his second consecutive treble.
Lecuona’s second place secured the fifth podium of his WorldSBK career, including three with Ducati after two in four years at Honda.
Oliveira replicated his third place for the final race of the weekend, securing third in front of his home crowd.
Alex and Sam Lowes once again finished in fourth and fifth, for Bimota and Marc VDS Ducati, respectively.
Lorenzo Baldassarri impressed to take sixth on the GoEleven Ducati, finishing ahead of BMW’s Danilo Petrucci.
Axel Bassani claimed eighth place on the Bimota, edging out Yamaha duo Andrea Locatelli and Remy Gardner.
Stefano Manzi claimed 11th on the GRT Yamaha, ahead of Honda test rider Jonathan Rea, Tommy Bridewell and Vierge.
Somkiat Chantra closed out proceedings to take the final point on the board after Kawasaki’s Garrett Gerloff crashed out at the final corner on the last lap.
