Toyota Gazoo Racing’s US Rally-Raid driver Seth Quintero takes on a new challenge – special stage rallying. Toyota’s GR Corolla RC2 is the weapon of choice for their ARA campaign in 2026.
The 23-year-old driver will have Finnish co-driver Topi Luhtinen reading the notes while none other than Jonne Halttunen will manage the ARA programme.
The 40-year-old is the latest former competitor to take on a management role for TGR, following in the footsteps of Juha Kankkunen and TGR WRT Team Principal Jari-Matti Latvala.
“My job is to manage the project and also try to help the team in the best possible way, using all the knowledge I have gathered from my career in WRC, and to give my feedback, said the two-time WRC Co-Driver Champion.
Halttunen continued: “Seth is doing the full championship and many people will know him from Dakar – but he’s brand new to rallying, so for him it will be a big, big challenge. He will have Finnish co-driver Topi alongside of him. It’s a big thing for them: they have to learn how to make pace notes together – OK, Topi knows, but Seth doesn’t. It’s going to be exciting.”
