KTM and its sister team Tech3 have officially launched its 2026 challengers for the upcoming MotoGP season.
KTM entered the 2025 season in a precarious position due to its financial crisis – a challenge that is likely to continue looming over the team throughout 2026 ahead of the 2027 regulation changes.
The Austrian manufacturer starts the new season with the same line-up for both its teams, with Pedro Acosta and Brad Binder representing the factory team and Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales for Tech3.
All four riders’ contracts expire at the end of the 2026 season, with Acosta linked to a possible move away from the brand and rumoured to be a target for Ducati.
Binder’s 2025 season was one of the most difficult of his premier class career, but a switch in crew chief, bringing in former Toprak Razgatlioglu confidant Phil Marron, aimed to revitalise his career.
Binder’s former crew chief, Andres Madrid, has moved to Tech3 to become Enea Bastianini’s crew chief in 2026 after parting ways with Alberto Giribuola and Xavi Pacin.red
Vinales kicks off the new season with a fresh ally, joining forces with five-time champion Jorge Lorenzo, who will serve as his mentor and rider coach.
Satellite team Tech3 is now under new ownership following the sale of Herve Poncharal’s outfit to former Haas F1 team principal Gunther Steiner.
