Team Lancia Corse HF has announced the 2025 WRC2 championship runners-up Yohan Rossel and co-driver Arnaud Dunand and the 2025 WRC2 Challenger Champions Nikolay Gryazin and Konstantin Aleksandrov to spearhead the brand’s return to the World Rally Championship.
Two Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale cars, run by PH Sport, will compete in the WRC2 Championship starting with Rallye Monte Carlo which starts on 22 January.
Ahead of the 2026 season opener, Roberta Zerbi, CEO of Lancia, said “Lancia’s return to world rallying is an important step, and we approach it with a strong sense of responsibility. Yohan and Nikolay bring distinct perspectives, a modern understanding of the sport, and the right attitude to grow alongside our project. The Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale was created to compete at the highest level, and the work of the Lancia Corse HF team allows us to look at this new chapter with confidence and clarity. See you in Monte-Carlo in January!”
Yohan Rossel, a long standing competitor in Stellantis’ Citroen brand added: “Discovering Lancia’s pedigree and listening to Miki Biasion, who compares Lancia to Ferrari, you immediately understand it is a brand that commands respect. I am therefore very proud to join Lancia with the same motivation I had at the start of my career. This new chapter will give real momentum to my career: a new manufacturer, great ambitions, and the desire to go even further with the project… to win.”
Skoda’s loss is Lancia’s gain with Gryazin ready to get down to business. “I am very proud to join Team Lancia Corse HF as an official driver for the 2026 season. Lancia has an iconic history in rallying, and it is a tremendous honour for me to be part of this story. With the team, we share the same ambitions: to fight at the front, to keep improving every day, and to bring this legendary name back to its rightful place. I am highly motivated for the work ahead, from the very first test to the final stage of the season. I want to thank Team Lancia Corse HF for their trust, as well as my partners and fans for their continued support.”
The interest generated by Lancia’s return has secured more than 40 cars ordered to compete in international and national championships.
