The final day of the Central European Rally started in dramatic fashion when Thierry Neuville crashed into a bridge parapet 4.2km into the first stage of the day. The crew was unharmed.
The Hyundai less so, after hitting a hay bale which protected the bridge and knocking it into the river.
Oil or coolant covered the road and with no protection for the remaining runners, the Clerk of the Course had no option but to cancel the stage.
