After winning widespread praise from fans whilst also earning nominations for several industry awards, WRC Promotor with backing from SafetyCulture, More Than Machine 2 hits the airwaves from 23rd November.

But wait. There’s more. MtM 2 tracks all three of the WRC’s top teams – not just M-Sport Ford, but includes in-depth coverage of Toyota Gazoo Racing and Hyundai World Rally Team’s season.

Among the stories capturing this season, More than Machine follows Adrien Fourmaux’s first steps with Hyundai after the headline off-season switch of 2024, charts the heartbreak of Takamoto Katsuta at Safari Rally Kenya, explores life in the hot seat with the WRC’s leading co-drivers, and tracks Mārtiņš Sesks as he learns to temper expectations after his breakout year in 2024.

“After the success of season 1, I’m pleased to share that we have expanded season 2 to feature Toyota, Hyundai and Ford,” expressed SafetyCulture Executive Chairman Luke Anear.

He continued: “We have been given never seen before access to the tension between the teams, the rivalry and the personal pressure that the team bosses feel every day.

“I’m very proud of what the team have created in this series as it’s gone to a new level and it will showcase the World Rally Championship to an even greater audience than ever before.”

“We have a clear target with More than Machine,” explained WRC Promoter’s Senior Director of Media Rights and OTT Platforms Philipp Maenner, “and it is to reach as many people as possible, offering a new unique insight of the WRC to our already existing fan base, whilst opening rallying to an entirely new audience, who will be captivated by the unique stories and incredible grit and determination required to succeed in our sport.

“The timing of the series provides a perfect bridge between the 2025 and 2026 seasons, satisfying the appetite of our content-hungry audience.”

“It’s been an incredible journey developing this series with Luke [Anear], to move this from just M-Sport to the entire championship has been an incredible undertaking,” explained Founder and Executive Producer from Superlative, Gary Osborne.

“Building trust with the teams, drivers and co-drivers takes time, care and smart co-ordination to get the best storylines. We’re pleased (and relieved!) with how welcoming everyone has been to introduce cameras into their engineer rooms.”

The episodes will drop weekly on YouTube.com/wrc beginning on 23 November and concluding on 4 January.
