Road America will host 49 entries from the IMSA SportsCar Championship for the eighth round of 2025, named the SportsCar Grand Prix.

The 160-minute sprint race on 3 August brings all four categories racing together since the Six Hours of the Glen in June.

It will mark the final iteration at Road America with the sprint format before next year, which will be a six-hour Endurance Cup race – as confirmed earlier in the year.

With 11 GTPs, 14 LMP2s, 10 GTD Pros and 14 GTD class entries, they all have their respective championship title battles running under 100 points.

Mathieu Jaminet and Nick Tandy claimed victory at ‘America’s National Park of Speed’ last year.

The returning winners are in separate Porsche Penske 963s – Jaminet paired with Matt Campbell – and Tandy leads the title fight with reigning GTP champion Felipe Nasr. Incidentally, Campbell and Nasr won together in the 2023 race.

Wayne Taylor Racing will run its Cadillac machinery for the first time at Road America, having driven with Acura last year.

Meyer Shank Racing races for the first time since 2023, now with two ARX-06 GTP machines instead of one, as Heart of Racing makes their first track appearance with #23 Aston Martin Valkyrie GTP drivers Ross Gunn and Roman De Angelis.

Connor De Philippi makes his LMP2 debut and replaces Tom Dillmann in the #43 Inter Europol Competition Oreca 07, who is recovering from his accident at the CTMP.

Tonis Kasemets and Matt Brabham make Team Tonis’ series debut in LMP2, as Kenton Koch departed Korthoff Competition and joined Triarsi Competitizione in their #021 Ferrari 296 GT3.

Whereas the #32 Korthoff Mercedes-AMG will have Mike Skeen partner Daniel Morad.
