McLaren has unveiled its Hypercar challenger for 2027, the car with which it will compete for the overall win at Le Mans for the first time since 1995.
The as-yet unnamed car will race in the FIA World Endurance Championship, making its debut in the series. McLaren already race in the championship in the LMGT3 class, with United Autosports. The two will partner on the Hypercar programme as well, with the Dallara-based LMDh car, with former Jaguar Formula E chief James Barclay as team principal.
Dallara also forms the base of the Cadillac V-Series.R and BMW M Hybrid V8, with which the British manufacturer will compete with in 2027.
