Rolex Testimonee Jamie Chadwick awaits her first taste of the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans at this year’s 93rd running of the event.

The British driver made history in her 2025 European Le Mans Series campaign with IDEC Sport as the first overall female race winner.

Along with her team-mates Mathys Jaubert and Daniel Juncadella, they won both four-hour races so far in Catalunya and Le Castellet.

As part of the preparation for the Hyundai/Genesis Hypercar programme next year, they partnered with IDEC Sport to learn the sportscar racing discipline ahead of joining the FIA World Endurance Championship – and so Chadwick runs a possibility of being the first female driver to race a Hypercar.

“Le Mans is one of the best sporting events in the world,” she said ahead of the 24-hour race with IDEC Sport in the 17-car LMP2 class.

“With it being my first year, my main goal will be to learn as much as possible while enjoying the entire experience.”

“I have been very lucky as Tom [Kristensen – fellow Rolex Testimonee] has given me a lot of great advice – he’s definitely the best person to learn from when it comes to this race.”

Chadwick attended this year’s 24 Hours of Daytona, also known as the Rolex 24, where she was a Grand Marshal.

The former W Series champion gave the iconic ‘Start your engines’ call for the 2025 IMSA SportsCar Championship season-opener.

IDEC Sport has taken pole position twice for Le Mans, in 2019 and 2023 for the Centenary Edition.

Last year, they finished in third place, which was their maiden podium finish at Le Mans with their #28 Oreca 07.

This time, IDEC aims for victory with their #18 Oreca 07.
