BMW rider Toprak Razgatlioglu prevailed to comfortably win the Most WorldSBK Superpole race after an early battle with Nicolo Bulega.

Both riders battled it out for half of the ten-lap shortened race, but Razgatlioglu maintained his dominance in Czechia.

Bulega snatched the lead off Razgatlioglu once again in Turn 1, but even Danilo Petrucci caught the polesitter napping.

The Turkish rider slotted his up to second later on in the first lap, but Bulega had already built a 1.0s advantage.

The start of Lap 3 saw him catch up right to the back of his championship rival, before the inevitable move arrived in the second sector.

Bulega found momentum heading into Lap 3 to try and force an overtake, but he ran in too hot into Turn 1 when trying to overtake the BMW rider.

Surprisingly though, Razgatlioglu wasn’t able to pull away as easily as yesterday’s success, resulting in Bulega pulling off a successful overtake one lap later.

His lead didn’t last long as his championship rival divebombed his way through in characteristic fashion, but a Lap 5 error from Bulega resulted in him running wide at Turn 1.

The Bologna bullet rejoined 1.5s adrift, which proved to be too much for the championship leader.

Behind the two championship contenders and Petrucci, Sam Lowes was eyeing up a move to add to his newly-formed podium tally.

Iker Lecuona’s pace saw him rise to fifth following moves on WorldSBK veterans Alvaro Bautista and Jonathan Rea.

These final positions were still up for grabs as the last three laps approached, but the Spaniard moved past Bimota rider Alex Lowes before a last corner move on Lecuona to take fifth.

Razgatlioglu secured his tenth race win at Most, making this his most successful track on the WorldSBK calendar.

Bulega brought the home bike in second after he ran wide at the halfway stage, but still finished over 4s clear of third-place finisher Petrucci.

Sam Lowes secured fourth spot in a photo finish with his Ducati rival, followed by factory Ducati rider Bautista two seconds down the road.

Lecuona settled for sixth to deliver a strong result for Honda, fending off a late charge from the second Lowes twin.

Honda rider Xavi Vierge and Pata Maxus Yamaha rider Andrea Locatelli pipped Jonathan Rea at the line, resulting in the Northern Irishman dropping two places on the final lap.

Yari Montella secured 11th for Barni Spark, finishing ahead of Garrett Gerloff and the second BMW rider of Michael van der Mark.

Bonovo Ducati’s Scott Redding and GRT Yamaha rider Remy Gardner closed out 14th and 15th place, respectively.
