In third was the #63 Lamborghini Iron Lynx, with Daniil Kvyat setting the fastest time, 0.167 slower than Giovinazzi ahead of him.

Fifth was Yifei Ye in the #83 AF Corse Ferrari, a 2:07.087 the fastest for the young Chinese driver and that car.

A trio of Porsche 963s were sixth, seventh, and eighth — the #99 Proton Porsche of Neel Jani, followed by the two factory cars, Laurens Vanthoor in the #6 ahead of Fred Makowiecki in the sister #5.

Ninth was the leading Peugeot, Nico Muller in the #93, while 10th was Paul-Loup Chatin in the #35 Alpine.

There were no red flags or full course yellows in the session, just a few scattered local yellow flags for drivers who briefly spun or went off track.

Daniel Juncadella went quickest in LMGT3, the #82 TF Sport Corvette Z06 GT3R driver setting a 2:20.855.

Davide Rigon was second in the #54 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3, 0.335 off Juncadella. Third fastest was Daniel Mancinelli in the #27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3, a further tenth and a half off Rigon.

FP2 begins at 5:30pm local time.
