Ferdinand Habsburg, who is recovering from an injury incurred during a testing accident, is listed on the 37-car entry list for the FIA World Endurance Championship’s 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps.

The #35 Alpine driver was replaced at the recent 6 Hours of Imola, the second round of the 2024 WEC, by reserve driver and GT sensation Jules Gounon.

Habsburg continues to undergo his recovery as Alpine enlists his name for a hopeful return to his racing duties.

Furthermore, due to the clash with the Formula E’s (FE) Berlin double-header, a selection of drivers who are opting to compete in FE has changed the lineup of their respective entries.

Andretti FE driver Norman Nato will sit out the race, leaving the #12 JOTA Porsche 963 to be driven by Will Stevens and Callum Ilott.

At Peugeot, the #93 9X8 entrant will be driven by Mikkel Jensen and Nico Muller, as Jean-Eric Vergne will compete for the Stellantis-brand DS Penske team.

The sister #94 Hypercar will also be run by two drivers as Stoffel Vandoorne, Vergne’s FE teammate, will prioritise the single-seater effort and leave the driving for Paul di Resta and Loic Duval.

Edoardo Mortara will be replaced by fellow Lamborghini factory driver Andrea Caldarelli in the #63 SC63 entry, with the Swiss-Italian-French driver racing with Mahindra in FE.

Cadillac Racing continues to run their Earl Bamber and Alex Lynn duo lineup, with the IMSA round at Laguna Seca taking place for the Chip Ganassi-run operation alike the timing with WEC Imola and IMSA Long Beach.

As announced at Imola, Rahel Frey will take Dorianne Pin’s seat for the remainder of the calendar – apart from the 24 Hours of Le Mans – with the French driver occupied by the Iron Dames’ new FRECA programme.

Another LMGT3 driver change will be that Toyota GAZOO Racing’s reserve driver Ritoma Miyata will take Kelvin van der Linde’s place for Spa in the #78 Akoddis ASP Team Lexus RC F GT3, with van der Linde prioritising FE with the ABT Cupra squad.

Incidentally, van der Linde will be replacing Muller at ABT whilst the Swiss driver is competing with Peugeot.
