Ferrari”s Antonio Fuoco went quickest for the second consecutive session, in the third and final free practice for the FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Imola.

The #50 Ferrari 499P driver set a 1:31.238, 0.034 faster than Dries Vanthoor, in the #15 BMW M Hybrid V8. Rene Rast made it a BMW 2-3, just under three tenths off his BMW stablemate.

Robert Shwartzman was next up in the customer #83 AF Corse Ferrari, while Matt Campbell was in fifth, first of the Porsches, in the #5 Porsche 963.

The sister factory Ferrari, #51, was sixth, almost half a second off Fuoco. Pier Guidi had a moment early on as he spun at the Villeneuve chicane, causing a brief yellow flag, but the Italian managed to spin the car around and continue on his way, with no harm to the scarlet car.

Brendon Hartley was seventh in the #8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid, while Callum Ilott was eighth in the #12 JOTA Porsche 963, with Kamui Kobayashi next up in the sister #8 Toyota, and Kevin Estre rounding out the top ten in the #6 Porsche.

Over in LMGT3, Marco Sorensen set the fastest time, 1:42.474, in the #777 D’Station Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3. Daniel Manichelli made it an Aston 1-2, onboard the #27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin, while Augusto Farfus was third quickest in the #31 Team WRT BMW M4 GT3.

Fourth and fifth were Manthey Purerxcing’s Joel Sturm, in the #92 Porsche 911 GT3 R, and Marino Sato driving the #95 United Autosports McLaren 720S GT3 Evo.

Right at the end of the session, Paul Di Resta went off track at Rivazza, and although the Scot kept the #94 Peugeot 9X8 out of the barriers, it needed to be recovered by the marshals. This caused a red flag, but the session was less than a minute towards being finished when the Peugeot driver hit the gravel.
