IMSA has officially released the entry list for next week’s 12 Hours of Sebring on 16 March, featuring the GTP debut of Lamborghini Iron Lynx amidst 58 competitors across four classes.

The second round on the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship will host the 72nd running of the famously demanding sportscar endurance race.

After debuting their SC63 LMDh in last week’s FIA World Endurance Championship Qatar 1812 km opener, Lamborghini will field another single #63 GTP for the second round of their Endurance Cup campaign.

Factory drivers Matteo Cairoli, Andrea Caldarelli and Romain Grosjean will drive the SC63 for its North American debut against 10 other GTP entries.

Elsewhere in GTP, Matt Campbell will continue as the Endurance Cup driver in the #7 Porsche Penske 963 entry having won the 24 Hours of Daytona season-opener in January.

Julien Andlauer made his Hypercar debut at the Qatar 1812 km for Proton Competition, and so he will replace Neel Jani as a third driver in the #99 Proton Mustang Sampling 963.

LMP2 is headlined by all 13 entries who took on the Daytona 24, involving the Sean Creech Motorsport #33 Ligier JS P217 after they encountered a difficult beginning at the opener which forced them to retire.

Lance Wilsey, Joao Barbosa and Jonny Edgar will pilot the #33 Ligier against 12 Oreca 07 LMP2s, including the #18 Era Motorsport which won in its category at Daytona and crowned endurance rookie Connor Zilisch as the second-youngest winner of the event.

DragonSpeed has yet to confirm their Bronze driver who will join Malthe Jakobsen and Rasmus Lindh, as have the #11 TDS Racing Oreca crew with only Peugeot Hypercar driver Mikkel Jensen and Hunter McElrea enlisted.

GTD Pro will have 12 entries representing nine manufacturers, highlighted by the two Chevrolet Z06 GT3.Rs, Ford Multimatic Mustang GT3s, and Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2s from Iron Lynx.

Leonardo Pulcini has been brought into the #60 Lamborghini with teammates Matteo Cressoni and Claudio Schiavoni.

Finally, GTD will host the most competitors in its class compared to the other three at 22 entries.
