After just over 2 hours, Cadillac’s Scott Dixon leads the Daytona 24 Hours, ahead of Dane Cameron for Porsche and Jack Aitken in the sister Cadillac.

The first hour has been much calmer than the caution-ridden first hour, but right on the hour mark, Steven Thomas crashed the #11 TDS Oreca 07-Gibson at the exit of the bus stop, hitting the wall hard on drivers’ right. This has put the race back under full course yellow.

Ricky Taylor, in the #10 WTRAndretti acura ARX-06 led from the previous restart, but Dixon’s teammate in the #01 Cadillac V-Series.R, Sebastien Bourdais, took the lead off which, which Cadillac has retained through the pitstops.

Dane Cameron, in the #7 Porsche 963, sits second, just behind the Indycar legend. Aitken lies third in the #31 Action Express Cadillac; teammate Pipo Derani started the car from pole but is now just over 10 seconds behind Cameron.
