Rally Hungary leader Miklos Csomos off in penultimate stage
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

There was heartbreak for FIA ERC Rally Hungary leader when the dream of a maiden ERC victory – and on home soil – went out the window in stage 11.

“We slid out in a left-hander, a small tree was hanging in and it overturned us. We tried to get down the last two stages safely. I am very disappointed and I can’t say more now.”

Mads Ostberg/Patrik Barth take an 8.9 second lead into the Power Stage finale
