Jack Aitken leads with two hours to go at Watkins Glen, as the race has come out a long caution to deal with a four car incident at turn 5.

Andrea Caldarelli and Rob Ferriol, in the #63 Iron Lynx Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 and the #42 NTE Lamborghini, were collected from behind by a spinning Alex Kirby in the #38 Performance Tech Ligier JS P320-Nissan, as he lost the rear end of the Ligier under braking.

Also caught up in the incident was Renger van der Zande in the #01 Cadillac V-Series.R, who managed to drive away. Kirby, who caused the incident, also managed to drive off, but the two Lamborghinis were not so lucky and have retired from the race.

Second in GTP is Colin Braun in the #60 Meyer Shank Acura ARX-06, while Nick Tandy is third in the #6 Porsche 963.
