Whether it is the cut and thrust of Formula 1 or the weaving intricacy of Moto GP, there is no denying that motorsport is the most exciting on the planet. The dynamics are fascinating, the action intense, and the anticipation of who is the best driver or rider in the world is fever pitch.

As such, if you’re considering a wager on the outcome of a race or championship then you may want to read this strategy guide which explains the dynamics of betting on motorsport. Once you’ve read it, head over to https://match.center/ and sign up to a few accounts.

Understand the Factors of Motorsport Success

To bet successfully on motorsport it is important that you understand the winning team formula. Many make the mistake of focusing on the driver only. Although important, it is not just who is in the cockpit that makes the difference between winning and losing.

So what other factors should you look at?

Who owns the team?

The owners of the team are important as is their financial status. The teams that do well tend to have plenty of financial clout. For example, Red Bull Racing Honda, is owned by Red Bull GmbH with a net worth of $30bn and Scuderia Ferrari has a net worth of $37.2 billion.

Meanwhile Aston Martin on the other hand is owned by an individual, Lawrence Stroll, who has a net worth of $3.1 bn. At the time of writing Red Bull and Ferrari drivers are one and two in the Drivers’ Championship and in the Constructors’ Championship, they are ranked one and two. Aston Martin Mercedes is ranked twelfth and seventh respectively.

Results/Form

In every championship you have inform drivers and teams and these need to be paid attention to.

History

This is a good aspect to look at as different drivers have favoured circuits. Seeing how teams and drivers performed historically can give some important and fascinating insights. The goal of analysis is to try and find a bookmaker oversight that you can leverage.

The Race Circuit

The circuit as mentioned is an important aspect to look at. Different drivers tend to do better on some circuits than others. For example, in the 1988 British Grand Prix, Nigel Mansell driving for Williams in an underpowered car managed to finish second, a podium finish. If you were coming in fresh at Formula 1 and looked at the form, Williams who was having a poor championship to date would have been good odds, especially for Mansell to get a podium finish.

Mansell whose British knew the circuit well, and this contributed to his podium finish. If you knew Mansell has plenty of experience and knowledge of the track, you may have considered him to be a good bet especially after conducting analysis.

Weather

Weather like the circuit is something to take into consideration. Different cars and drivers perform differently in wet or dry weather. Weather conditions can make a difference to the outcome of races so do a little research into which teams and drivers perform well in different weather conditions.

With a little research, you’ll find your sports betting experience will be better and the races more exciting.
