WRT doubles up to two cars for 2022 World Endurance Championship

WRT will double its presence in the World Endurance Championship for the 2022 season, with two ORECA 07-Gibsons in the LMP2 class. 

One will be under WRT’s ‘Team WRT’ banner, while the other will be in co-operation with Swiss team REALTEAM Racing, under the ‘REALTEAM by WRT’ banner.

In car #31, new WRT signing Sean Galeal switches from JOTA Sport for his second full year i n prototypes. The Indonesian took runner-up honours in both the WEC and the Le Mans 24 Hours last year, with a growing presence in endurance racing.

In car #41, under the REALTEAM by WRT banner, Rui Andrade is the first confirmed name. The Angolan debuted in LMP2 last year, in the European Le Mans Series for G-Drive, winning the Pro-Am LMP2 category. He also came third in the Asian Le Mans Serues, and made his debut at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
