After a hectic hour including 30 minutes behind the safety car and a short, sharp shower causing multiple on-track incidents, Toyota continue to lead 1-2, with Jose Maria Lopez in the #7 Toyota GR010 ahead of Brendon Hartley in the #8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid.

Mathieu Vaxiviere in the #36 Alpine A480 is third, a lap down on the leading Toyota.

The shower arrived early on in the hour with almost no warning, leading to the #26 G-Drive ORECA 07-Gibson of Franco Colapinto hitting Sophia Floersch in the #1 Richard Mille Racing ORECA 07-Gibson.

Floersch then got hit by Tom Cloet in the #74 Racing Team India Eurasia Ligier JSP217-Gibson, which has meant the Richard Mille Racing car has retired from the race.
