Toyota Gazoo Racing finished 1-2 in the second practice session in the run up to the Le Mans 24 Hours, with Sébastien Buemi leading the way in the #8 Toyota GR010 Hybrid on a 3:29:351.

His teammate in the #7 car, Kaumi Kobayashi, was just under four tenths back. The fastest non-hybrid car was the #708 Glickenhaus 007 LMH, driven by Brazilian Pipo Derani, three quarters of a second off Buemi’s pace-setting time.

Over in LMP2, the #38 JOTA ORECA 07-Gibson was quickest, with the lap in question, a 3:32.390, being set by veteran sportscar driver Anthony Davidson.

Frenchman Norman Nato was next with a 3:32.608 in the #70 Realteam Racing ORECA 07-Gibson, while Filipe Albuquerque channelled his anger from qualifying into a good lap to take third in the #22 United Autosports ORECA 07-Gibson.
